Rock Band 3 Keyboard Keypad plus Interface & MIDI PRO-Adapter

Found a really cool article from Joystiq about the upcoming midi pro adapter and actual keyboard interface for the upcoming Rock Band 3 console game. Looks like Mad Catz were showing off their masterpiece at the E3 show! Check out the link there’s tonnes of pics!

Mad Catz’s midi PRO-Adapter connects to the Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii via USB, and the MIDI instrument plugs into the port on the side of the device! Pretty damn cool! Of course you can play with your instrument, but it only takes 5 keys so, if you’ve a grand piano you’re still gonna be stuck with 5 whatever! But still, it’s novel and fun!

Violent Femmes, Coheed and Cambria, Supergrass, Siouxsie & the Banshees Come to Rock Band: April 20, 2010

Almost a reason to buy a Wii in itself, next week [20th April] you can download songs from Coheed and Cambria, the Violent Femmes, Supergrass, and Siouxsie & the Banshees for use with Rock Band.

If the information I read is right, it’ll be available for 200 Wii Points per track!

From Coheed and Cambria‘s camp, their 3 songs are from, “Year of the Black Rainbow“, just launched this week! You will get their new single, “The Broken“, “Guns of Summer“,  and, “Here We Are Juggernaut“, for the Wii.

At last the Violent Femmes feature on Rock Band taking a track from their 1991 album “Why Do Birds Sing?” featuring their single, “American Music.”

Supergrass’ next download on Rockband will be  “Sun Hits the Sky”.

One of the singles for download on Rockband that shocked me was Siouxsie & the Banshees with “Peek-a-boo”.
