PANTHA DU PRINCE LIVE!

Black Noise, the third disc of Hendrik Weber, available on Monday, March 8, will undoubtedly be one of the discs of this 2010. The disc contains a pair of collaborations lujísimo: Noah Lennox (Panda Bear), who puts his unmistakable voice to “Stick To My Side” and Tyler Pope, bassist! LCD Soundsystem and collaborating on “The Splendor”, the single in advance. Hendrik Weber and warned in his two previous albums of what we are coming, especially in the earlier “This Bliss” (Dial 2007), one of the best electronic music albums of the decade to be ending.But this is beyond him. With that out already. PDP has remixed Bloc Party, The Long Blondes, Raz Ohara, Depeche Mode, Animal Collective and attention, Barcelona Blunt. To have him presenting this marvelous live only six days after departure in the market is a kind of good.

Here is another hype of these new-style combining adequate dose of indie, folk and Afro-pop and for them to be considered within the groups that will have to speak in the coming months.”Gorilla Manor”  has a good combination of vocal harmonies, epic guitar and a melodic and rhythmic structure has meant that once they get into the same box as other formations recent success as Vampire Weekend, Born Ruffians (most exalted moments), Cold War Kids, Band of Horses, Fanfarlo and especially in the Fleet Foxes, with whom he shares the same penchant for vocal harmonies.

There are even who’s been described as the Vetusta Morla California. Apart from all these comparisons should not deny a certain degree of originality to the band from Los Angeles (if the “originality” as a phenomenon exists today) and we believe that only the quality of “Wild Eyes” The album’s opening track, I guarantee that in the coming months we will have a Local Natives up in the soup.

Anders started production in late nineties but decided a few years away from the scene and returned with the best attack possible, and immersed in the new century. With the computer at the top of new rhythms and sounds, his compositions have since rung hits, highlighting the epe ‘Polar Shift’ as supertemazo unreservedly. Also in 2006 we did raise eyebrows and open jaws with a first album, “The Last Resort”, surprisingly conceptual and confidential, due both to Basic Channel and The Velvet Underground. Their movements within the low elastic include intelligent techno, house Barrel aged, bases compressed and gritty details, well polished everything with an admirable sense of structure and suspense. A locomotive of the electro-house movement, the whole train.

You can listen to Tommy Victor being on the “Metalopolis” show. For me, the earlier years of Prong were by far the coolest. The cool thing is the person doing the interview on the show is the ex-drummer from Rob Zombie Ivan de Prume.

I posted elsewhere that loquo was probably one of the best. Well, it’s worth putting something up, but I’ve come across more quality musicians at solomusicos.com.

Bands to watch out for: Hot Chip, London

Hot Chip, are acclaimed to write music for themselves and, well, against musical protagonists and critics alike. This quite funky electronic group are quite laid back and in my opinion quite cool. They remind me a little bit of an Electronica version of The Streets.

There’s some deffo Pet Shop Boys influences in their numbers.

Let’s hope they visit Barcelona!
